Great powder, spectacular views, 1,000 plus acres of expert terrain, steeps, trees, cliffs, and bowls – that's Monarch Mountain's snowcat terrain. Considered some of the best snowcat skiing in Colorado, guests enjoy skiing/riding in closely spaced trees, variable snow conditions and extremely steep slopes. A normal snowcat tour will average 10 to 12 runs per day at an average of 900 vertical feet per run. This is steep, expert terrain with varying conditions to be expected. 8:30 - 8:45 ORIENTATION lower level of day lodge with guides.
